Ashe will join Megan Moroney, Michelle Branch, and Bebe Rexha later this month at We Can Survive, helping to support mental health awareness with a special performance at UBS Arena in New York.
“I am a huge fan of all of them,” she gushes. “Megan Moroney in particular. I've just been watching her skyrocket, and I just love watching her shine so much.”
“I mean, the goal is that our cycles all sync-up and we become very close friends,” she jokes. “I feel like we're all gonna be buddies.”
Ashe is very proud of The Girl Of Your Dreams, finally distilling the singer’s most theatrical and classical instincts into a perfect Pop album. She shares that she often uses songwriting as therapy, but is also quick to share she uses therapy for therapy, and is proud of it.
“I love my therapist,” she exclaims.
“I also garden a lot. I journal. The shoes are off and they're in the grass and there's a lot about my life that is very not my career that keeps my feet on the ground and makes me a better artist.”
