Paulina Porizkova is ending the year with yet another stunning photo.
The 56-year-old supermodel posed in a studio, reclining in a simple black one-piece bathing suit, wearing shiny black pumps.
She looks off into the distance likely reflecting on her attached caption, filled with remembrance of the insecurities she felt during her days coming up in the modeling world.

"When I was the most seen, I was the most insecure,” Porizkova wrote. “My body and face were my capital, and held to ridiculous standards of perfection. When you’re constantly compared to other versions of perfection, your own will certainly be questioned.”
She continued: “Instead of loving the body I was in, I was always vaguely ashamed that my legs weren’t as perfect as this one’s, my hips not as prettily round as this other one’s, my boobs not a big as that one’s. When the measure is perfection, no one can live up to it.”

She then added a quote from the book "On Living" by her friend Kerry Egan that reads, in part: “Second in intensity to the regret of hating their bodies is the wish of the dying that they had appreciated their bodies in the course of their lives.”
Porizkova, who frequently posts stunning bikini photos, concluded: "No, you don’t have to celebrate your body by posing in lingerie or nude, although it is a pretty good way to capture your beautiful hard-working body. But DO love it. Celebrate it. Pay homage to it. It’s the only one you have."
The supermodel, who previously explained that she felt like a "treasured possession" throughout her 28-year-relationship with the late Ric Ocasek, has vowed to use her voice on social media to help women feel more empowered.
