Bruins ratings have skyrocketed as the team enters the final stretch to the playoffs, according to a press release from NESN on Thursday.
NESN’s coverage of the Bruins this season is the highest in four seasons with a year-to-date Household rating of 3.49 through 56 telecasts, which is a 49% increase over last year.
NESN also registered growth in key demographic categories: Adults 25-54 rating is 2.62 year-to-date, the best since the 2014-15 season and a 55% increase compared to the same number of matchups last year and the Adult 18-34 category is up 94% at 1.96, the highest at this point in the season since the 2013-14 season.
The network has also seen a ratings increase among women aged 25-54 with a 1.86 rating, which is the best for Bruins broadcasts in that demographic since 2013-14. This is also up 89% over last season.
Nearly 2 million unique people in New England have watched the Bruins on NESN this season, the release also states.
The Bruins have 15 games remaining in the regular season.
