-- While Rob Gronkowski is enjoying his vacation in Cabo San Lucas with his girlfriend, Camille Kostek, Tom Brady wants to make sure he’ll be ready to get back to work when he returns.
Does this mean Gronkowski will be back next season?
-- Tim Tebow got two hits for the Mets against the Red Sox on Monday but Jose Canseco still isn’t impressed with the former NFL quarterback’s swing.
“He needs help,” Canseco said. “I just saw him. The swing looks so mechanical, so bad. I’m surprised nobody’s helping him out.”
“I could easily get him up to, at the major league level, 35 to 45 home runs,” Canseco said. “At the Triple-A level he could hit 50 … I can really turn him into a power hitter just working on his technique and his attitude. His swing is really too short and too rotational to create power.”
Tebow has 14 home runs in his 701 at-bats in the minors.
