While it isn't totally clear right now what Jarrett Stidham is on the field, he seems to get things off the field.

On Friday, Stidham and his wife Kennedy donated 1,000 Chick-fil-A meals for children and families at the Hockomock Area YMCA, which serves the Foxborough area.

Stidham is entering his second year in the league and will likely be the starting quarterback this coming season replacing Tom Brady.

Local YMCA's and food banks have been much busier than usual when it comes to serving meals due to COVID-19.

The sun & warmth were not the only surprises today. A big thank you to Patriots Quarterback @Jarrett_Stidham and his wife @kennedystidham_ for reaching out to us to help & providing over 1,000 @attleborocfa1 lunches today for children & families in our #community #BeCauseY pic.twitter.com/AMTrZTG9iv
