For the second straight week, the Patriots have a player getting a weekly honor.

Linebacker Kyle Van Noy was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 16-10 win over the Bills. This comes following Jake Bailey being the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week last week.

Van Noy led the team with eight tackles, two sacks, three quarterback hits and two forced fumbles in the win. He also helped force an interception on the Bills' final drive when he hit quarterback Matt Barkley to force a pass that was intercepted by Jamie Collins.

The veteran is off to a tremendous start this season, as he already has eight tackles, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in three games.
