WEEI Hockey Insider Christian Fauria was back at work Wednesday, as he reported on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria that according to sources, Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk (concussion) will return to the lineup for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, and that Zdeno Chara (broken jaw) is still a possiblity to play.

Grzelyck returned to practice Wednesday wearing a no-contact red jersey and spoke with the media after practice. Coach Bruce Cassidy said he was still in concussion protocol and had not yet been cleared. Fauria's sources confirmed what many suspect, though, which is that Grzelcyk will be cleared in time to play Thursday night.

Fauria first broke the news that Chara has a broken jaw on Tuesday, and reported then that a source told him Chara was "doneski." Fauria said his sources changed their tune on Wednesday though, first telling him that Chara would miss Game 5 but potentially return later in the series, then telling him that actually a return in Game 5 is still a possibility.

For his part, Cassidy offered no update on Chara’s status during his press conference Wednesday.

Listen to Fauria's report -- which he got to in an entertaining and very roundabout way -- in the clip above.
