How Patriots will reportedly handle players who came in close contact with Cam Newton on trip to Kansas City

After Cam Newton and Chiefs practice squad QB Jordan Ta'amu tested for COVID-19, the Patriots-Chiefs game scheduled for Sunday was moved to Monday night.

Pending no more positive tests, the Patriots will travel to Kansas City Monday morning.

The trip will look a lot different than most other road trips, as according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, the Patriots will be taking two planes -- one with the 20 or so players who have been in close contact with Newton and the second with the rest of the traveling party.

The Patriots did something similar last year when the flu bug went through the locker room.

Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
