At least four Yankees will represent their team at next week's All-Star Game, while only one Met will be on hand in Washington, D.C.
Aaron Judge was voted in as a starting outfielder. Rookie second baseman Gleyber Torres was selected as a reserve, while starting pitcher Luis Severino and closer Aroldis Chapman also made the cut.
Ace pitcher Jacob deGrom was the Mets' lone selection.
Judge, headed to his second Mid-Summer Classic in his sophomore season, is batting .280 with 25 homers and 58 RBIs. He trails only the Red Sox's J.D. Martinez for the MLB lead in homers.

Since making his big-league debut April 22, the 21-year-old Torres is hitting .294 with 15 homers and 42 RBIs. Torres was placed on the 10-day disabled list July 4 with a hip strain, an injury that could jeopardize his participation in the July 17 All-Star Game.

— Gleyber Torres (@TorresGleyber) July 9, 2018Severino is a candidate to start the game for the AL. Headed to his second straight All-Star Game, the Yanks' ace is 14-2 with a 2.12 ERA. The 24-year-old right-hander leads the majors in victories.

— Luis Severino (@LuisSeverino94) July 9, 2018Chapman, selected to his fifth Mid-Summer Classic, is third in the American League with 24 saves. The flame-throwing lefty is 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA and has 66 strikeouts in 38 innings.
Giancarlo Stanton could potentially join his teammates in D.C. The slugger, who is hitting .267 with 21 homers in his first season in New York, is among the five candidates included in the Final Vote, in which fans will decide the last roster spot in each league. Stanton is going up against Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi, Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario, Mariners shortstop Jean Segura and Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons.
DeGrom, meanwhile, has been a regular victim of poor run support from the Mets. The right-hander leads the majors with a 1.79 ERA, but has just a 5-4 record to show for it.
The Astros, Indians and Red Sox had the most All-Stars -- five each. The Atlanta Braves had four, the most in the National League.
The NL Final Vote candidates are Dodgers infielder Max Muncy, Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar, Cardinals third baseman Matt Carpenter, Giants first baseman Brandon Belt and Nationals shortstop Trea Turner.
