A few weeks after a picture of him on the toilet in his Park Avenue apartment made its rounds online, Alex Rodriguez has finally broken his silence.
While A-Rod was not happy with the picture being published, the former MLB superstar and broadcaster has decided not to pursue legal action.
"I'm certainly not suing," Rodriguez said on "Good Day New York" Monday. "The one thing is, I actually do my best thinking there! I wasn't ready for the picture. It is what it is... I have to invest in some good blinds, and I think I am."
According to the New York Post's Page Six, A-Rod tends to use the bathroom without closing his blinds. Someone with a clear view from an adjacent building took a photo of the three-time MVP sitting on the can with his pants down while texting on his phone.
The 43-year-old did admit that his legal team is still undergoing an investigation into the photo, and that he would like to prevent the same thing from happening to someone else.
A-Rod shares the apartment with his fiancee, Jennifer Lopez.
"It's really a weird thing," Rodriguez said. "I'm happier that it was me (rather than) my better half or one of my children."
