On Oct. 16, 2009, 14 months after Mike and the Mad Dog's 19-year on-air run ended, Chris Russo appeared as a guest on Mike Francesa's WFAN show, which was on location from the ALCS at Yankee Stadium.
The show opened up with the "Mike and the Mad Dog" theme song.
"I have arrived! I have returned!" Russo then jokes.
"Well, I think this will put the kibosh on the idea that you and I hate each other," Mad Dog says later.
"Which has never been true," Francesa adds.
In the clip, Russo talks about life after the FAN. Mike and Chris also discuss the ALCS between the Yankees and Angels that was going on at the time.
