The "Boomer and Gio" show got started Thursday with Boomer Esiason addressing the conviction of his former radio partner, Craig Carton, on fraud charges Wednesday.
A federal jury in Manhattan found Carton, 49, found guilty of conspiracy, wire fraud and securities fraud. He was accused of swindling investors in a ticket reselling business.
Prosecutors said he spent investor money on personal expenses, including gambling debts and landscaping bills.
