Boomer and Gio got things started with the college football finale, which featured a true freshman quarterback, Trevor Lawrence -- who the Booms predicted will be the first pick of the 2021 NFL draft – starting for the winning team for only the second time ever. (Jamelle Holieway led Oklahoma to a national title back in 1985.)
The guys also discussed the first NFL head coaching hire, as the Packers hired Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur to be their new head coach. LaFleur will replace the recently fired Mike McCarthy, whom many Jets fans would like to see coach their team.
