Boomer & Gio couldn't help but wear their Mets emotions on their sleeves Thursday morning after enduring a 7-0 loss to the Braves and seeing Jacob deGrom leave the game with a hyperextended right elbow, which occurred while swinging a bat.


If deGrom does miss significant time, might Matt Harvey replace him in the rotation?  Can Mickey Callaway right the ship?  Boomer & Gio have their doubts.

Meanwhile, the Yankees once again had their way with the defending World Series champions, blanking the Astros for the second game in a row – this time behind Luis Severino's first career shutout -- and getting a two home runs and four RBIs from Giancarlo Stanton.
