Friday's highly anticipated "Moment of the Day" featured a slip of the tongue of sorts, if you will, and we'll just leave it at that.
You can listen to — and download — all of the memorable audio from Friday's edition of the morning show with Boomer and Gio in one nice, little package for your convenience.
It was another Yankees win to talk about early on, as the Bombers topped the Indians 7-4 in Cleveland in a game that wasn't the pitching duel many expected. We also heard plenty of talk about the future of Manny Machado. The Mets lost to the Nationals 5-4, which in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really matter, but the guys certainly took some time to question Mickey Callaway's decision not to let Amed Rosario face Max Scherzer. Plus, the Knicks may actually have a bright future, the Meadowlands sportsbook opens Saturday, the great Twitter purge, more speculation surrounding LeSean McCoy, Boomer isn't on board with Tiger vs. Phil in prime time, we learn that Joe Montana and Steve Young rarely pay for anything and much more.
Until Monday morning at 6, when the guys make their return to the airwaves, you stay classy, New York, and have a good weekend!
