The Yankees once again flexed their muscle at the expense of the Astros, topping the defending World Series champs 5-3 Wednesday night in the Bronx. Luis Severino was terrific, and Gary Sanchez was clutch. Boomer and Gio were all over the Yanks' dominance early on in Thursday's show, but didn't ignore their beloved Mets, who split a four-game series with the Braves by winning 4-1 in Atlanta.
So the Yankees may be the best team in baseball, the Mets are hanging on – albeit by a thread -- and Boomer wants, in the worst of ways, for LeBron James and the Cavaliers to somehow dethrone the Warriors.
