The Yankees just keep winning and look pretty damn good while doing so, so it was only fitting that Boomer and Gio got this Wednesday edition of their radio program started with the Bombers, who topped the Red Sox 3-2 in the Bronx on Tuesday night.
Giancarlo Stanton went deep a couple of times, Luis Severino pitched like an ace, and Aaron Judge provided the game-winning hit – a very well-rounded Bombers victory.
The Mets, on the other hand, had a tough time with the Reds in Cincinnati but did manage to trade Matt Harvey to the aforementioned Reds for catcher Devin Mesoraco.
All of that, the Knicks introduced David Fizdale as their new head coach, and the NBA playoffs – which obviously doesn't involve the Knickerbockers (yet!!!) and much more.
