The Yankees continue to do their thing, taking two of three from the A's over the weekend and looking pretty damn good while doing so.
The Mets on the other hand, they got 45 pitches and just one inning out of their starter Sunday, as Jacob deGrom was given the early hook in a 4-2 loss to the Phillies. For those of you keeping score at home, the "not so Amazins" have now lost nine of their last 11, while looking pretty bad doing so. Boomer the Mets fan described his fandom as both "frustrating and sad."
In addition to all of the baseball discussed Monday morning, Boomer and Gio also talked about the Celtics' lopsided win over LeBron James and the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.
