Chandler Catanzaro is back with the Jets.
The team announced Friday they have signed the kicker, who spent the 2017 season with Gang Green before leaving for a year.
Catanzaro, 28, signed a three-year, free-agent contract with the Buccaneers last season, but was released after nine games, going 11-of-15 on field goals and 23-of-27 on extra points. The Panthers then picked him up to replace the injured Graham Gano. In four games with Carolina, Catanzaro made all five of his field-goal tries and 7 of 8 extra-point attempts.
With the Jets in 2017, Catanzaro was 25-of-30 on field goals, including a franchise-record 59-yarder, and 29-of-29 on PATs.
Catanzaro spent his first three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Jets' kicker from last season, Jason Myers, signed with the Seattle Seahawks this week.
