New York (WFAN) - After missing the past two games with a strained right foot, there is a chance we see Sam Darnold back under center Sunday for the Jets when they head to Tennessee to take on the Titans.
Darnold told reporters Wednesday that he is 'pretty optimistic' about playing Sunday, but it will depend on how his foot responds to his limited practice session.

His reps in practice Wednesday were the most he has done in the past three weeks. Josh McCown has been starting at QB in his place.
"I'm hopeful (that I can play Sunday)," Darnold said. "But at the same time, just seeing how I feel every single day, assess it after every practice and we'll go from there."
