Speculation continues over whether former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is a realistic fit for the Giants. The three-time Pro Bowler was released April 13 after calling Arlington home for eight seasons.

The intrigue has intensified after Bryant posted an Instagram video of him working out with Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. Bryant has made it clear that the Giants are his preferred destination. The video was uploaded less than 24 hours after Big Blue cut wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

It remains to be seen whether the feeling is mutual. At the moment, Giants general manager David Gettleman is keeping his cards close to his chest.

"I'm interested in everybody," Gettleman said Thursday. "We'll see."

Bryant previously spoke of his desire to join the Cowboys' archrivals. A swap of "Big D" for Broadway would inject further heat into of one the NFL's longest-standing feuds.

"Playing with him (Odell), Sterling (Shepard) … the tight end (Evan Engram), (Eli) Manning? Crazy. They draft (Penn State running back Saquon Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick)? That'd be crazy!" Bryant told CBS Sports earlier this week.

Through eight seasons, Bryant has hauled in 531 career receptions for 7,459 total yards and has scored 73 career touchdowns. The 29-year-old suited up for all 16 games for Dallas last season, posting 69 receptions for 838 yards with six touchdowns. His last 1,000-yard season was in 2014.

After releasing Marshall, the Giants have freed up an additional $5.1 million in salary cap space. The Giants might be more likely to sign Bryant to an incentive-based contract, but there will be no shortage of teams looking to pursuade the former Oklahoma State standout to sign elsewhere.
