The Giants have placed veteran running back Jonathan Stewart on injured reserve.
The 31-year-old running back carried the ball just six times for 17 yards in New York's first three games.
Giants GM Dave Gettleman signed Stewart to a two-year, $6.9 million contract, with $2.95 million guaranteed, during the offseason.

Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gallman are currently the only running backs on New York's 53-man roster.
Taking Stewart's place on the roster will be wide receiver Jawill Davis, who is being promoted from the team's practice squad.
Davis is an undrafted free agent from Bethune-Cookman.
