The New York Giants have signed linebacker Connor Barwin to a two-year, $5 million deal. Barwin announced the news via Twitter.

The veteran linebacker played with the Rams last season, finishing with 34 tackles and 5 sacks in 14 games. Barwin is familiar with the NFC East, having played with the Eagles from 2013-2016, where he was a Pro Bowler in 2014.
Barwin has 354 tackles and 55.5 sacks in nine seasons in the NFL. The 31-year-old slots as an outside linebacker and is capable of playing all downs. Barwin is a proven player and can mentor some of the Giants younger players on defense.
