Janoris Jenkins has broken his silence regarding the body found at his house on June 26th.
The Giants cornerback had not commented on the body found in his Fair Lawn, NJ home until Thursday when he released a statement about the incident on his Instagram account.

"With regret and sadness I wish to inform the fans, and the public a good friend of mine Roosevelt Rene a.k.a. Trypps Beats was found dead at my place of residence," Jenkins said. "Trypps was a good friend and we were collaborating on a music production together. It truly hurts my heart to know he has passed away. At the time of the incident I was in Florida preparing to finish off my promotional tour. As this is an ongoing incident, I cannot answer any questions related to the investigation. I am praying for Roosevelt and his family."

Following the incident, Jenkins brother, William Jenkins, was charged with aggravated manslaughter.
William Jenkins had been arrested earlier on June 26th for a parole complication unrelated to the deceased.
The Giants cornerback did not include any comments regarding his brother's charges.
