The first game of the Subway Series has been postponed due to inclement weather, the Yankees announced Monday evening.
Monday's game between the Mets and Yankees will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Tuesday.
The first game will start at 1:05pm, with Zack Wheeler taking the mound for the Mets, going up against Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees.
Game two will remain as-is, with a start time of 7:05pm. Jason Vargas is scheduled to face off against James Paxton.
All gates will open at noon.
