For the New Jersey Devils' mascot, apparently it's not really a party until something gets broken.
While making an appearance at a birthday party at a children's gym Sunday, NJ Devil dropped a rainbow-colored parachute and then bolted for a window, shattering it. It was obviously a joke gone wrong. After some awkward silence, the hockey mascot buried his oversized forehead in his hands.
"My son’s birthday ended with a bang!" Lawrence Chiu wrote on Twitter. "We are so ready for this season thanks NJ Devil for coming to the birthday party."

July 14, 2019 NJ Devil had some fun with the incident. In a video posted to his official Twitter account, the mascot tests some Prudential Center plexiglass before loading it into a van, presumably to replace the glass he broke.
