NEW YORK (WFAN) -- The Mets have re-signed Jeurys Familia to a three-year deal worth $30 million, according to multiple reports.
Familia recorded a 3.13 ERA and went 8-6 in 70 relief appearances last season in combined duty for the Mets and Oakland Athletics.
The A's acquired Familia on July 21 for Will Toffey and Bobby Wahl.
Brodie Van Wagenen has already bolstered the Mets' bullpen by adding major league saves leader Edwin Diaz from the Seattle Mariners.
Familia is expected to serve as the Mets' setup man in 2019.
