NEW YORK (WFAN) -- J.A. Happ has agreed to a two-year, $34 million contract with the Yankees with a third-year option, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
The third-year option would vest if the left-handed starter reaches a certain number of innings pitched and games started.

— Mark Feinsand (@Feinsand) December 13, 2018Happ went 17-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 31 combined starts for the Toronto Blue Jays and Yankees last season. He was a 2018 All-Star.
After joining the Bombers, Happ recorded a 7-0 record with a 2.69 ERA in 11 starts.
The Yankees currently have James Paxton, Luis Severino, Masahiro Tanaka, CC Sabathia and Happ penciled into their starting rotation. Jordan Montgomery is also set to return, but he's coming off Tommy John surgery.
