It is no secret that the struggles of the offensive line have been a big factor in the Giants getting out to a miserable 1-7 start to the season.
Eli Manning has already been sacked a whopping 31 times through the first half of the year. To put that into perspective, the 31 sacks is more than 11 of his previous 13 full seasons as the quarterback of the Giants.

New York attempted to shore up the offensive line a bit when they claimed Jamon Brown off waivers from the Rams. Only 12 days later, Brown will get his chance to make a good first impression with his new team, as the 25-year-old lineman will start at right guard for the Giants against the 49ers Monday night, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.
Brown will take John Greco's spot in the lineup. The move represents the team's fourth different starting offensive line combination through the first nine games of the season.
Brown started 16 games with the Rams last season. The four-year veteran was waived when Los Angeles acquired Dante Fowler Jr. from the Jaguars prior to the NFL trade deadline.
