Baker Mayfield's OBJ Defense Ticks Off Giants Fans

Baker Mayfield has some new enemies in the Big Apple.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback angered some Giants fans Wednesday with comments he made to ESPN The Magazine about his new teammate Odell Beckham Jr., who, of course, played five seasons for the Giants before being traded in March.

"He's here to play in front of fans who actually care, who will actually show up to every game and pack the stadium and love him for who he is," Mayfield says in the cover story by Mina Kimes.

It's not clear whether Mayfield intended to take a shot at Giants fans or just talk up Cleveland's fans. But many Big Blue supporters on Twitter sure took it as an insult.
