Baker Mayfield has some new enemies in the Big Apple.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback angered some Giants fans Wednesday with comments he made to ESPN The Magazine about his new teammate Odell Beckham Jr., who, of course, played five seasons for the Giants before being traded in March.
Here were some of the responses:
@bakermayfield Hey BM, stay in your lane. You know nothing about Giants fans and their awesome support for OBJ when he was here. I hope you and he have great careers in Clev. But don't throw shade at us or karma will come back to bite you!

July 17, 2019 WTF does that mean? Giants fans didn't support him? Even after this cry baby antics, after the "pizza n coke photos" and even after the boat trip.. We still had his back... Big fan of yours @bakermayfield but comment this ain't it.

July 17, 2019 Giants fans always showed love to OBJ and would always show up to games even when the team would be doing terrible. Giants Fanbase > Browns Fanbase. Y’all stadium will probably just now start to get full which hasn’t happened in a very long time u clown @bakermayfield https://t.co/s5HN2bGm3n

July 17, 2019 @bakermayfield For you to speak on Giants fans is completely uncalled for. We all cared for @obj & we were at the stadium packed when we were good or bad. Try worrying about your fans and win them something before you talk about a fan base that knows how 3 rings feels like.

July 17, 2019 Does Baker Mayfield realize when Browns fans show up to the games they are usually wearing paper bags on their heads because they are so embarrassed? #GiantsPride

July 17, 2019 Mayfield's comments also drew the attention of former Giants offensive tackle Geoff Schwartz.
Giants fans don’t care about their team? Bold statement. https://t.co/YTKOLR3ICw
