Ben McAdoo has broken his media silence in a big way.
McAdoo was fired by the Giants in December, failing to make it through his second season as Big Blue's head coach.
On Thursday, McAdoo made some bold claims in an interview with the New York Post, including claiming the Giants will win the NFC East this season, Sam Darnold is a fundamentally flawed quarterback, Nate Solder is a bad player and the Philadelphia Eagles will not be able to handle success.
Twitter had a field day with McAdoo's questionable comments. Here are some of the very best reactions to the former Giants coach.
@Eagles So let me get this straight, fired @Giants coach Ben McAdoo predicts the @Giants will win the NFC East because the @Eagles won't be able to handle success. So is Ben McAdoo's new job a fortune teller at a carnival?

— CogginToboggan (@CogginToboggan) July 13, 2018Dear Ben McAdoo,Shut the hell up.Regards,Humanity.

— Mac Daddy (@WhosUrMacDaddy) July 13, 2018Ben McAdoo benched Eli Manning, a folk hero in New York, in favor of Geno Smith, a laughing stock in New York. He gets no say, does not pass go, and does not collect $200. https://t.co/JuFwIAlS6G
— William Brackin (@Brackintology) July 13, 2018I wish the Giants could rehire Ben McAdoo just so they can fire him again.
— Jared Moore (@MrJaredMoore) July 13, 2018McAdoo plans to take the 2018 season off while he is still being paid by the Giants and will likely re-enter the coach's carousel for 2019.
