The Yankees' and Mets' Triple-A affiliates got into a benches-clearing brawl Sunday.
The scuffle in Syracuse broke out shortly after Mike Ford of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, a Yankees farm team, homered off Syracuse Mets reliever Arquimedes Caminero. The next batter, Breyvic Valera, was then hit in the back by a Valera pitch, prompting both teams to storm out of the dugouts and begin pushing and shoving near first base.

May 27, 2019 Caminero was immediately ejected. Syracuse shortstop Danny Espinosa was also tossed for saying something to the RailRiders bench, which lured Scranton first baseman Logan Morrison into doing enough to get ejected as well.
According to Conor Foley, who covers the RailRiders for The Times-Tribune, Mets outfielder Tim Tebow and Scranton manager Jay Bell were the most instrumental in restoring the peace.
The RailRiders went on to win the game, 11-6.
