In the battle for New York football supremacy, the New York Giants and New York Jets face off in the MetLife Bowl, played every four years between the two Empire State football teams.
Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton clearly came prepared Sunday, scoring two first half touchdowns versus the crosstown rival Jets. On fourth-and-four, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones found Slayton for a 39-yard touchdown grab. The reception cut the Jets' lead to just one, 14-13 in the second quarter. The Giants failed on the point after attempt that would've tied the game.
