David Robertson, one of the top relievers available in baseball's free agent market, is leaving the Big Apple again.
The 33-year-old right-hander has signed a two-year, $23 million contract with the Philadelphia Phillies, according to multiple reports. According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, Robertson has already passed his physical and the deal has been finalized.
The Yankees, for whom Robertson pitched the past season and a half, was interested in re-signing him. He also reportedly drew interest from the Mets, Red Sox, Angels and Dodgers.

"Philly really checked off all the boxes for me," Robertson told MLB.com. "They are hungry to get back to the postseason and win. They have a great fan base, a beautiful ballpark and a special focus on charity. They've put together a great squad and I think I can bring a lot to the team in the back end of their bullpen."
Robertson appeared in 69 games for the Yankees last season, going 8-3 with a 3.23 ERA and five saves. He did not allow a hit in three postseason appearances in 2018.
It was Robertson's second tour with the Bronx Bombers. He spent his first seven big-league seasons with the Yankees before signing as a free agent with the White Sox before the 2015 season. He returned to New York in the July 2017 trade that also sent third baseman Todd Frazier and pitcher Tommy Kahnle to the Yankees in exchange for reliever Tyler Clippard, outfield prospect Blake Rutherford and two other minor leaguers.

For his career, Robertson has a 2.88 ERA and 137 saves.
Where do the Yankees turn now for bullpen help? They've shown interest in re-signing Zach Britton and have met with the agent of right-hander Adam Ottavino, who spent the past seven years with the Colorado Rockies.
