Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant is interested in joining the New York Giants.
The former Cowboys receiver spoke with Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas about possible teams he could sign with, and seemed most intrigued with the Giants.
"The Giants got a helluva defense, they're going to pay OBJ [Odell Beckham Jr.], so coming back," Bryant said. "Playing with him, Sterling [Shepard] ... the tight end [Evan Engram], [QB Eli] Manning? Crazy. ... They draft [Penn State running back Saquon Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick]? That'd be crazy!''
Beckham and Bryant are known for having grown a close relationship over the last few years.

While Bryant may want to join Big Blue, and Fisher believes it is the receiver's top choice, it does not seem as if the team has plans to pursue the 29-year-old wide receiver at the moment.
The Giants currently have the sixth-least amount of cap space in the NFL, thus severely limiting the amount of money they can offer Bryant.
In addition to the salary restraints, New York already has a solid receiving corps. Between Beckham, Shepard, and veteran Brandon Marshall at wide receiver, as well as hybrid tight end Evan Engram, the Giants are not likely to use more cap space on the position. However, New York can free $5.1 million in cap space by releasing Marshall.
Bryant went on to say the Houston Texans would also be a natural fit and would allow him to stay in his home state. The eight-year NFL veteran said he would also be interested in joining the Jacksonville Jaguars or Los Angeles Rams.
Bryant, a three-time Pro Bowler and 2014 First-team All-Pro, caught 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns while appearing in all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2017.
