Both the Giants and Jets have reportedly expressed interest in free-agent cornerbacks Byron Jones and James Bradberry.

Jones could be looking at a deal worth $17 million per season, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reported, citing league sources, while Bradberry should be in the neighborhood of at least $15 million per season. The Jets are believed to be more willing to pay those prices than the Giants.

A 2018 Pro Bowler, Jones, who has played the first five years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, finished last season with 46 total tackles and one forced fumble in 15 games.

Bradberry was strong for the Carolina Panthers in 2019, totaling 51 tackles, three interceptions and 12 deflected passes. He recorded a team-high 10 tackles and picked off Tampa Bay's Jameis Winston twice in Week 6.

Both players have plenty of connections to the Giants' front office. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was Dallas' head coach when Jones was drafted. Giants general manager Dave Gettleman drafted Bradberry as a second-round pick in 2016 when he was the GM of the Panthers.
