Giants safety Kamrin Moore has been charged with third-degree aggravated assault after an alleged domestic violence incident that took place Thursday night, NJ.com reported, citing a police report.
According to a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause that were obtained by NJ.com, Moore punched a woman and knocked her unconscious after he had previously stepped on her neck outside his home in Linden, New Jersey.
The Giants have responded to the news by suspending Moore, pending further investigation into the matter.

July 15, 2019 According to the affidavit, Moore and the 22-year-old victim met in January and had been dating. Police were not called to the scene, but the woman filed a report Saturday at a police station in Linden. She was taken to Rahway Hospital with injuries that the report described as “bruising, swelling and abrasions.”
Moore was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2018 draft out of Boston College. New Orleans released him on Sept. 1 of last year, and the Giants claimed him on waivers the next day. Moore played in just two games as a rookie and likely needed to prove himself in preseason to earn a spot on the 2019 roster.
Moore's agent Eugene Lee released a statement about the charges on Monday afternoon.
