The Giants are expected to sign former Cowboys offensive tackle Cameron Fleming, according to multiple reports.
The 6-foot-6, 320 pound lineman has agreed to a one-year contract that maxes out at $4 million, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported.
Big Blue is also set to sign former Patriots special teamer Nate Ebner, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Fleming was a fourth-round pick by the Patriots in 2014 and spent his first four seasons in New England, where he was a member of two Super Bowl-winning teams. He signed with the Cowboys before the 2018 season. Dallas declined to pick up his option for 2020 earlier this week.
Fleming has never been a full-time starter in the NFL, starting 26 of the 75 games he has played in. Last season, he started three games for the Cowboys.
The 27-year-old Stanford product is expected to compete for a starting job at right tackle against Kevin Gates or possibly an incoming rookie. Currently, the rest of the starting O-line is projected to be Nate Solder at left tackle, Will Hernandez at left guard, Spencer Pulley at center and Kevin Zeitler at right guard.
In New York, Fleming will be reunited with his former head coach in Dallas, Jason Garrett, who is now the Giants' offensive coordinator. Ex-Cowboys offensive line coach Marc Colombo is also on the Giants' staff.
And both Fleming and Ebner are quite familiar with new Giants head coach Joe Judge, who was the special teams coach in New England.
Ebner, 31, was with the Patriots since 2012. Officially listed as a defensive back, the 6-foot, 215-pound Ebner is known mostly for his special teams contributions. The three-time Super Bowl champ has recorded 95 tackles, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries over his eight-year career.
