The schedule for the Islanders' first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Pittsburgh Penguins is set.
The Isles, who finished the regular season second in the Metropolitan Division with 103 points (48-27-7), clinched home-ice advantage Saturday night with a 3-0 win over the Washington Capitals.
The Islanders are playing their home games in the series at Nassau Coliseum. If they advance beyond the first round, they would return to Barclays Center.
The best-of-seven series will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Long Island. Game 2, also at Nassau Coliseum, is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Games 3 and 4 will be played at Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena -- at noon April 14, and 7:30 p.m. April 16.
As for the if-necessary games, the Islanders would host Game 5 on April 18, the Penguins would host Game 6 on April 20, and the series would return to New York for Game 7 on April 22.
All games will be streamed live on RADIO.COM's Islanders Radio Network.
The Penguins, the third-place finisher in the Metropolitan Division, went 44-26-12 (100 points) this season.
The Islanders were 2-1-1 against Pittsburgh this season.
This is the fifth time New York and Pittsburgh are meeting in the postseason, the last coming in the first round in 2013. The Penguins won that series in six games.
