With $21 million still left under the salary cap, the Jets are looking to beef up their secondary even more.
Gang Green has scheduled a visit for this week with former Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro, according to multiple reports.
Last season, the Jets spent their first two draft picks on safeties Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye. If signed, Vaccaro would give the unit more depth.

The 27-year-old former first-round draft pick is known for his versatility, having played strong safety and slot corner. He also is a strong run defender near the line of scrimmage.
Vaccaro had eight interceptions and 385 tackles in his five seasons in New Orleans. Last season, he had 60 tackles a career-high three interceptions despite missing four games with injuries.
According to NFL.com, Vaccaro is the third-ranked free agent still on the market. The Colts and Dolphins also have expressed interest in the former University of Texas standout.
