The Jets kicking woes were on full display during the team's 17-16 loss to the Bills.
Kaare Vedvik, who the Jets claimed off waivers on Sept. 1, missed the team's extra point following C.J. Mosley's 17-yard interception return in the first half. It was the first of a few missed opportunities for Vedvik in his first game with the team.
Vedvik also missed a 45-yard attempt, kicking wide right for his second missed attempt on Sunday afternoon. The Jets were able to pressure Bills' quarterback Josh Allen and forced four takeaways, but the team held a six-point lead at halftime.
Head coach Adam Gase didn't even bother allowing Vedvik to attempt the extra point following Le'Veon Bell's touchdown. He opted for the two-point conversion.
Maybe it's Vedvik's lack of experience at MetLife Stadium that resulted in his missed field goals. He was unable to practice at the stadium this week due to a soccer friendly between the United States and Mexico on Friday night, leaving the kicker a few hours ahead of his Jets debut to become accustomed to the field.

Chandler Catanzaro was set to be the team's kicker this season. After missing two extra-point attempts in the Jets' preseason opener, Catanzaro announced his retirement from football.
