FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (WFAN) -- The Jets will have Morris Claiborne back in their corner next season.
Over his six-year career, Claiborne, the sixth overall pick in the 2012 draft, has five interceptions and 194 tackles.

The Jets' secondary has been given a complete face-lift over the past two seasons under general manager Mike Maccagnan. New York will enter the season with Claiborne, newly signed cornerback Trumaine Johnson and safeties Jamal Adams and Marcus Maye, its top two draft picks last season.
Meanwhile, the Jets appear to have found their new kicker, signing Cairo Santos, formerly of the Chiefs and Bears. He replaces Chandler Catanzaro, who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday.
Santos began last season with Kansas City, but a groin injury landed him on injured reserve after three games before he was ultimately released. He played in two games for the Bears later in the season.

In four NFL seasons, the Brazilian kicker has converted 84.1 percent of his field goals and 96.2 percent of his extra points. His career long field goal is 54 yards.
“I still believe I’m the same successful kicker I was when I was playing in Kansas City," Santos told NewYorkJets.com. "I needed a franchise that would believe in me that I will be that same kicker. By the way I’ve been treated by the New York Jets, that’s how they see me."
