SEE IT: Robby Anderson Celebrates TD In FedEx Field Crowd, Falls

Robby Anderson had an exuberant touchdown celebration prepared Sunday afternoon

The Jets wide receiver caught his second touchdown of the season — his first since Oct. 13 — during the Jets' 34-17 win against the Washington Redskins. In the second quarter, Crowder broke free from Redskins' cornerback Josh Norman, when quarterback Sam Darnold connected with his wide receiver in the back of the end zone.

Anderson, limited all week in practice leading up to the matinee matchup, proceeded to enter the crowd at FedEx Field to celebrate.

However, Anderson's leap wasn't as clean and graceful as his touchdown reception.

He fell backwards into the sea of celebrating, and likely surprised, group of fans who didn't catch the Jets wide receiver. Security officials and Washington fans alike acted quickly to help Anderson, who continued his celebration, back to his feet.

In terms of celebration standards, there isn't typically any form of punishment when a player enters the stands. The Lambeau Leap is a tradition among the Packers and Green Bay fans. Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill commemorated a 2018 touchdown by entering the stands to control a television camera. While he was ultimately penalized, the NFL opted not to fine Hill.

The play was Anderson's first and only catch of the game, where he tallied six total yards.
