It looked like something you might see at a Harlem Globetrotters game, but the Wizards' Justin Anderson wasn't laughing.

In the Knicks' preseason opener Monday night at Washington, New York power forward Marcus Morris bopped Anderson on the top of the head with the ball while being closely guarded by the Wizards forward on the perimeter.

The players then exchanged words while teammates intervened.

Morris, who signed a one-year, $15 million contract with the Knicks this summer, was called for a flagrant foul 2 and ejected. He now faces a possible suspension from the league.

"Am I concerned (about a suspension)? ... I would be concerned if it was regular season," Morris said, via ESPN. "I wouldn't want to miss any regular season games. If that was regular season, I wouldn't have done that. My team needs me. I've got to be smart, set a better example.

"But like I said at the beginning, we're not taking any s---. So it is what it is."

The Knicks won the game 104-99.
