About a year and a half after drafting him with the ninth overall pick, the Knicks are reportedly open to trading Kevin Knox.
Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium said on USA TODAY's "HoopsHype" podcast that he's been told the Knicks have included Knox's name in trade discussions with the Golden State Warriors for All-Star guard D'Angelo Russell.
SNY's Ian Begley reported Monday that the names of Bobby Portis and Frank Ntilikina -- the eighth overall pick in 2017 -- have also been floated to the Warriors.
Charania said he doesn't think any of the packages the Knicks have offered so far have appealed to Golden State. He added that he hasn't gotten the sense New York is willing to part with second-year center Mitchell Robinson.
The NBA trade deadline is at 3 p.m. Thursday.
