Whom Will Nets Pick At No. 17? Here's A Look At What Some Mock Drafts Are Saying

By WFAN.com

While there isn't much guesswork involved in figuring out who the Knicks will take with the third overall draft pick next month -- it should either be RJ Barrett or Ja Morant -- there's a lot more uncertainty with the Nets.

Brooklyn owns two first-round picks this year -- 17th and 27th overall. Here's a look at some of the players internet mock drafts have the Nets taking at No. 17.

Romeo Langford, SG, IndianaMock draft: NBADraft.net  The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Langford is considered to have plenty of the physical tools to work with as well as the aggressiveness and quickness needed to get to the rim. His long-range shooting, however, is lacking.

Bol Bol, C, OregonMock draft: CBS Sports' Gary Parrish"On one hand, he's a 7-2 center who can put the ball on the floor, shoot 3-pointers effectively and alter and block shots like nobody else available," Parrish writes. "That's the good. On the other hand, he's a 7-2 center who struggles to guard in space and missed most of this season after suffering a foot injury in December that required surgery in January. That's the bad." Bol is the son of former NBA star Manute Bol.Goga Bitadze, C, Georgia (Europe)Mock draft: Bleacher Report's David KenyonThe 6-foot-11, 250-pound European is a physical post player with a good jump shot for a big man. He's not thought to be especially athletic, though.

KZ Okpala, SF, StanfordMock draft: NBA Draft Room"Scouts are mixed on KZ but he's got freaky length and an advanced to-the-basket game, making him a possible lottery pick," NBA Draft Room writes of the 6-foot-9 1/2, 209-pound wing.

Sekou Doumbouya, SF, FranceMock draft: DraftSite.comDue to his size (6-9, 210) and elite athleticisim, Doumbouya is considered one of the most intriguing international prospects to enter the draft over the past couple of years. His upside is huge, but the 18-year-old is very raw.

Kevin Porter Jr., SG, USCMock draft: Fansided"Porter needs a culture, system and development-oriented program to get back on track after a rough season at USC. The Nets offer a great situation for him," Fansided's Brandon Kleen writes of the 6-5, 215-pound Porter.

Nassir Little, SF, North CarolinaMock draft: TankathonWith his physical tools and size, the 6-6, 225-pound wing has Kawhi Leonard-type upside, which will probably help his draft stock. But he didn't live up to the hype at North Carolina, where he averaged just 9.8 points per game in his one season. He could be a boom-or-bust pick.
