Masahiro Tanaka's stay on the disabled list is over.
The Yankees right-hander was activated Tuesday after spending a month on the DL with two strained hamstrings he suffered while running the bases against the Mets. Tanaka is slated to start Tuesday night's game at Baltimore.
While Tanaka (7-2) hasn't been his usual self this season -- his 4.58 ERA is nearly a run higher than his career ERA -- the Yankees are surely happy to have him back in the mix.

If the Bombers (59-30) have a weakness, it's starting pitching. And injuries to Tanaka and Jordan Montgomery (season-ending Tommy John surgery) have exacerbated the situation.
Tanaka will square off against the Orioles' Andrew Cashner at Camden Yards. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
