The New York Mets have been cleared to return to play by Major League Baseball, and they will make up the four games they missed almost immediately.
As they were scheduled to host the Marlins at Citi Field Tuesday-Thursday anyway, the Mets will make up the game they lost last Thursday in Miami as part of a Tuesday doubleheader, beginning at 5:15 p.m. The Mets will be the home team for game one, and the Marlins will be "home" for Game 2 as the makeup game.

— Mark Feinsand (@Feinsand) August 24, 2020As seen in that Tweet and reported earlier as well, the Yankees and Mets will make up two of their three games that were canceled last weekend by playing a pair of doubleheaders on Friday and Sunday at Yankee Stadium. That means the two teams will play five games this weekend, with the Mets the home team in one game each Friday and Sunday, and the third game will be made up Sept. 4 at Citi Field.
