It's year four of Tim Tebow playing minor league baseball in the New York Mets organization and he doesn't appear close to being big league ready.Credit the former NFL quarterback for staying persistent and a great asset in the clubhouse, but Friday afternoon was a good example why Tebow won't be playing in the majors anytime soon. With the Mets leading the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 in the ninth inning, Tebow had a chance to end the game by catching a fly ball. Instead, the 32-year old minor leaguer tripped over his untied shoe and fumbled the catch.
This was supposed to be the end of the game, Tim Tebow had some trouble though. pic.twitter.com/awrH2yxSwo

Tebow also went 0-2 in the game with two strikeouts. It hasn't all been bad for Tebow in spring training this year, he did hit a home run earlier in the week.
