Nets forward Wilson Chandler went on an expletive-laden rant on Twitter after he says the manager of his apartment building told him to stay out the common areas.
The Nets announced Tuesday that four players on the team have tested positive for the coronavirus. The Nets are not identifying the players, but Kevin Durant told The Athletic he is among them.
“Didn’t even ask was I ok, one,” Chandler wrote. “And two, she didn’t ask me if I had been tested and if it was negative or positive. F—- this building man. I’m going home.
“Has to be 300 + plus ppl in this building coming and going. Plus Fed Ex and UPs deliveries, Amazon etc. F—- that lady man.”
In their statement announcing the four COVID-19 cases, the Nets said they were asking all of their players and members of their travel party to remain isolated due to their close contact with the infected.
Of the four players who tested positive, only one was exhibiting symptoms as of Tuesday. Durant was asymptomatic.
